I may live in ireland but i'm from Scotland. Granted our team has been poor but hey! They can and will improve! So! Supposing they made it to the following round after England lost, how many of you would cheer on Scotland? A British team after all!

I'm English so I would be passionate and screaming and jumping about for them. But when Scotland play I will be willing them on to win, but just not in the same fashion. When they score goals I'll go "yeeeeeeeees!" so I think that counts as my support.
England will win it though ! lol x
Hey Fugatastic.. I am guessing you are from the American Continent somewhere, but you are WRONG about the English & we are very good at football compared to the other 3 nations, we qualified for the World Cup, they did not. We are excellent in our Leagues & our clubs have 1000's of supporters in all of our nations. Not just in England. Also, don't forget, we exited the 2006 world cup at the same time as Brazil. Whether we didn't quite up the tempo is not the issue. We stayed in just as well as the "supposed" favourites; Brazil.

I am not to sure to tell you the truth. I am from America and well I always hope that they can advance atleast and win if they get the chance. My favorite teams though is Portugal, Germany, England and Brazil or they were this year. Anywayz for your question I think that it would be really cool if Scotland or Ireland got into the World Cup. Reason is they go kinda crazy, the fans in the stands. It would be so awesome to see that.

If Scotland qualified and England didn't, then being British i'd cheer on Scotland. Otherwise, i'd not really be bothered if they got knocked out or did well.

What? I'll cheer for Scotland but do you expect Land of Eng people to cheer for the Scots? You're either a supporter of Scotland, Land of Eng, Northern Ireland or Wales as far as "Britain" goes.
No sitting on the fence hedging your bets. Besides who woudl support Land of Eng bar the Dopey English as their national side is snoozeville the way they attempt to play soccer.

Im Irish, i would always cheer for Scotland and Wales because i think they would cheer for us, especially Scotland.
England sometimes if im in the mood. I wouldnt have minded seeing England winning the world cup if we wouldnt have to listen to it for the next 80 years. Its a media thing i think.

And whats all this about Scotland being British, I get the impression that Scotland would drop the union quicker than................well, something really quick!
But saying that, if push came to shove, yes I would grudgingly support Scotland because you are, like it or not still British. And of course there's the comedy value of Scotland in the World cup. Priceless!

I really hope that scotland qualify but it doesnt look good for them if they do qualify I will be goin to a few games with my uncle
