Of course they are. In the US we call them blue jeans. They are the right thing to wear in the appropiate situation.
For sure, jeans are almost strictly for casual wear. Business slacks and suit jacket would be out of place at a beach outing or on a hike in the country.
There are night clubs where jeans are proper and fashionable, but to make it work, the fit and accessories have to be right. Check out the fashion magazines and the magazines targeting the 20-somethings crowd. These are great sources for ideas that work.

hmmmm it depends how you were them shorts dungerees or a skirt dungeree are really in but as its summer full length dungerees are a bit winterish it also depends on what you wear underneath i would recommend a vintage t shirt with some big beads and funky sunglasses.if you want to play safe dont wear them but some girls can pull them off but you have to be quite tall and skinny,but go for it if you like them thats what counts people will respect your individuality!!!

Hi, do you live in the uk? i have just been on riverislands website and if you go to dresses/playsuits in womens then go to playsuits and then the last page and there is two playsuits in the style of dungerees .. lol. Hope i helped.

yes yes yes they are they very much still in style ... u rememeber the dickies that were create for the workin class man there were consider work jeans well there very very popular now with the younger kids and rock bands!
