i have a1997 honda civic brakes seem good when engine is off when engine is started pedal goes to the floor. changed rear calipers and master cylinder.

perhaps the vaccume line going to the power booster is shot. happened to me. i got used master cylinder and power booster, only to find the broken hose. power booster is bulbous looking thing behing master cylinder. additionally, bleed the brakes WELL.

Air in system, bulging hoses, who knows. Its about time work on vehicles was licenced to stop amatures risking everyones safety. No offence meant.
