Need to know how to get or make an icon for my desktop for yahoo mail only.

You have to put a pic on Yahoo 360 first. It's the only way.

If you use Internet Explorer, you can just go to mail.yahoo.com, make the window a bit smaller so you can see the desktop, then take the little icon on the Address bar beside the URL and drag it onto the desktop and it'll make an icon right there for you!

make your window so you can see the desktop and the webbrowser at the same time... left click and drag the little icon in your address bar onto the desktop and let it go there. This will make a shortcut to the website you were currently on. so for yahoo mail.... go to mail.yahoo.com and do that.... or right click on desktop and go to new, shortcut and create one that goes to mail.yahoo.com

if you are using windows... right click on the desktop. select 'new', then 'shortcut'. for the location, enter https://login.yahoo.com/config/mail?.intl=us
name the shortcut. if you want to change the icon:
right-click the shortcut, and go to 'properties', then 'change icon...'
find an image that you want to use as an icon, and click 'ok'
