I would like to start watching children in my home during the day for extra money, but my husband says that our landlord won't let us because of liability on them. Is this true and what can I do to make them not liable in case of an accident/problem/legal issue?

Talk to an insurance agent. They have the knowledge to answer your question, and they're trying to sell something, so they'll research the answer if they don't.

The landlord may not say no. If I were the homeowner, though, I would. Little kids do more damage than pets and six or eight little kids do ten or twenty times the damage of one!

(I'm a day care provider.)
