my belly button piercing is closed and has been for about a year and a half

Yeah, i don't have my bellybutton peirced either and occasionally I have the same pain. I usually get it somewhat near to my period, but sometimes its not even close to it...so I'm sure it's normal is so many girls get it :)
It can be really painful, so take a couple Tylenol, that always helps me, and use a heat pad or hot water bottle to ease the pain until the medication gets rid of it.

Yes, I don't have belly button pierced but I still have pain once in while.
