like if you see this really hot anime guy and then the next day at the mall you see a guy that looks exactly like him the anime guy isnt hot anymore

because the cartoons are confident and daring which is attractive to women. However those persons who typically dress up like cartoons are not confident and daring, thus not attractive.

It's the fantasy factor. Anime guys are way too hot and to see a guy like that is not so attractive because it ruins the fantasy factor, and it's downright scary.

If I could see someone who looks like an anime guy at the mall, I'd follow him around until he left. Those characters are great to look at, but they're all fantasy....aren't they???

Because they are two different worlds... animated things and people can't translate to real world very well. Even comic books and such, they have to change things for some characters because it would look ridicules to take it as is into the live action.

I have the same problem with Dr. Girlfriend. I suddenly found out that a girl with a low husky voice in RL is not what I wanted.

Hmmm...I don't know, but I think it's odd that you've seen a real guy that looks just like an anime guy...since 99.9% of anime guys are _way_ too pretty, and would look _really_ out of place in the "real world."
