Im not very good with names and I'm not sure what words there are to describe the way people say things, example, he said in surprise or he said with amusment. has anyone got any ideas.

Think of your first pets name and the street you live on? Porn name I know but it could work.

i.e. Snowy Windermere!! there you go.


Discriptive speach is easy. Listen to sport comentary.

He baulked...
He bluffed..

She rounded etc.

I always find a Thesaurus a great source of unusual words...and a tip for names think of the type of personality you want them to have and think about the Friends you have. Also use the old Dickens method....A name plus what they are...
IE Ebenezer Scrooge!

if you are writing a story -- don't worry about how you spell or how you arrange your sentences or anything -- just write -- you can have someone else edit it later -- you can even rearrange the whole story afterwards -- whatever you want -- worrying about all those 'rules' when you're trying to be creative will block your creativity -- just relax.
