The thing is, I'm very good looking, and it's not as if plenty of girls haven't asked me out and stuff, I was just too shy and basically ignored them. Nonetheless it has nothing to do with morals, relgion, any of that stuff. Is this normal? My worst fear is that I'll be 25 and I'll still be this way. I mean I wouldn't have the first clue as to how to go about kissing a girl. Anyone else in the same boat or who was in the same boat. Will this change in college? By the way I'm not at all gay just in case you were thinking that.

Once you get in college, out of your parents house, things will be easier.

It's nice that you are not rushing into everything like everyone else does. Don't worry! It is fairly normal for people not to engage in a kiss until they are older. The days of early kissing have gone by and "dates" are even less common. People like to hang out in groups! You know that!!! In college you will find a girl that gets your attention enough that you will want to be with her more than anyone in the past. You need to act on that so you can get to know her. During that process, if she and you hit it off, then a kiss will just happen normally. Don't plan it, just wait for it to happen. Good Luck

im 18 and had my first kiss two days ago so dont lose hope. as with you i am good looking and have been asked too i just was a bit shy and never met the right person. more than likely it will change in college as you'll meet people with similar interests and find someone you really like and want to be with.

No worries, my friend! When the time is right, it will just happen. Don't worry about how to do it, everybody is pretty bad at it at first. Everybody has their own style, so don't be afraid to ask a girl what she likes and let her guide you. A lot of guys think they're great at it when they aren't, so more than likely the girl will be flattered that you're willing to do it the way she likes it. Don't be discouraged, it takes a bit of practice! Best of luck to you, college is great fun!

While growing up I always went by this saying. "The best comes to those who wait." When the right lady comes your way.........and I am sure you will meet a lot of new ladies in college you will find the time and courage to be involved. I was the same way and now I'm happily married.

You are unusual, but not alone.

Once you find a girl you can really connect with, I think this problem will resolve. I mean a girl who you can really talk to, who you can talk to about this, and will help you learn about this part of living.

In college, everything will be the same...

But there will be more girls there, and they will be more bold and brazen... You will get out of your "flower on the wall" after you have been there for awhile...

I wish you well..
