In ireland they're called gards not policemen. Some people like them, some people don't! You know ... It's the same everywhere you go!

As a whole, I dislike cops and tend to very wary of them. I respect their position, because one day I might need a cop to come and help me, though I doubt that will ever happen-a cop helping me, that is.
I've watched cops walk away from situations that they could have stayed and helped someone, simply because they were almost off of work. My ex hit me while I was pregnant and they didn't even arrest him, because he was military and they didn't feel like doing it.
So, I really don't like cops. I know all of them are not like that, but the ones I have met are complete assholes.
