"We will stay here until our last breath under the banner of Hizbollah against the barbarians and terrorists of Israel and the United States," said Hashem Hashem, a 52-year old employee of the state-run Lebanese University.
When they kidnapped the two soldiers and killed eight others they had to know Israel was going to hit back. And if they want to fight to the last man, it's their choice. But for the sake of the civilians why don't they get out of town? If they stay in the middle of the cities there will be civilian casualties. There is no way around it.

And why does the media not scream as hard for Hezbollah to quit shooting rockets as it does for Israel to stop dropping bombs?
