It's the same thing with the BET channel. I'm not racist at all and I could care less if there is a black entertainment television channel but I guarantee you if someone tried to start a White entertainment channel all hell would break loose.

Its just SILLY, that's why. I am not aware of the "white" race (LOL) being discriminated against in Minnesota, of all places. Or anywhere else for that matter. You might present the idea to Garrison Keillor because I bet he could write a good story about it and put it on the air. Sounds like a great topic for some of the Lutherans of Lake Wobegone to get all excited about!

Though I do not agree with a gathering such as this, it is your contitutional rights to do so. They may not close the streets down for you, but you can petition for a permit under the Freedom of Expression act which since the right is not confined to verbal speech but is understood to protect any act of seeking, receiving and imparting information or ideas, regardless of the medium used.

Legally they have to allow you (within zoning, noise regulations, etc.). There have been US Supreme Court decisions dealing with this subject, and so far freedom of speech has prevailed.
