i have a bt voyager 205 at the moment, which has 1 usb and 1 ethernet connection, but i want to upgrade to a either 1) 3 or more ports(ethernet) 2)3 or more ports and a wireless connection
what i need to do is a connection to 1)main p.c 2) bedroom p.c 3) wireless laptop(but could be wired connection)
when installing all of these would it be the same way as i have my 2 p.c,s allready(installed router software on main p.c and then installed spftware on bedroom p.c),so would i just run the software through my laptop?
also with more and more computers connected to a single router do i loose bandwidth?
thank you

I had the Netgear DG834G which was great at first but turned out wrong as completly stopped and would not connect to the internet and so it has happend to many people as i have read on forums on the internet, So i have a new one which at PC World was recomended and had the least taken back ever before so i bought it, The router was the D-Link DSL- G604T which is really good and i cheap on the internet, I bought it for just under £60 in PC World put the price has gone up slightly, I would say if you want to get it cheap look here at http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/64222

hope this helps

I would recommend a Netgear wireless router. It's a little more than you were intending to spend but we use them at work and never have any problems with them.

They're also a doddle to set up.

This is one of the cheapest sites that I know of, they will even give you good advise of what will be best for you if you contact them.
I have found that Linksys are one of the most reliable and at a decent price.
