We given the world so much! TV,Telephone, which incidently has led to broadband etc. we are so great, in fact all you non-scots should bow down to our greatness. We'd of been better not joining the union because its slowed down our progress. Scotlands had to econmically support England for years

boycott world - Scotland's oil revenues have been paid into th English economy for years. Billions of tax has came from the Scottish North Sea and if Scotland left the union you'd be bankrupt.

First off, Scotland is a part of England. You are an English citizen. Second of all one nationality is not better than anther. This breed hatred and results in negative social behaviors. Those who need to feel superior to others have a self esteem problem and would be much better off to work on it with a counselor.
Good luck and have a great day.

Well yes, it must be good to be Scottish, because you don't have your expectations raised in ANY sport because you are so terrible at everything that you have not so much a trophy cabinet, but more of kitchenware outlet for all your wooden spoons! But to be fair, you do have Andy Murray, who is dating an English girl (maybe he thinks Scots girls are too rough) and who spends as much time as possible in climates that don't rain all day every day, or around people that will either stab you, headbutt you, or say 'there's been a muudder!' (Taggart style). At least there is Sean Connery who is a dedicated Scot who never leaves the countries' borders....

What! every English taxpayer pay £300 per year more tax to subsidise Scotland
According to the Scottish Executive the UK Government spends £1800 more per person per year on people in Scotland than in England
I support a free Scotland - sooner the better for England's benefit.

Away wi' ye!
You're quite welcome to (or, at least, it is expected that you'll) do your best to antagonise the English...but the rest of the world?
Don't forget your nation's contributions to medicine (antiseptics, antibiotics, vaccines, ...); Steam locomotion; Whisky(!); Haggis; Shortbread; Tablet; deep-fried Mars Bars; ...
Scotland's a wonderful country - I've lived there for the last 20 years - but what does it say when over 3/4 of people who self-identify as Scottish don't live there?

It's not better to be Scottish, I'd hate it, anyway I read that the Union Act of 1707 was welcomed by Scotland because it was bankrupt.

Its better to be scottish because, you all want to leave there as soon as you can so that you can go and tell the rest of the world how great you are. The funny thing is, is that once you have left your bonnie land...........you never want to go back. I should know...i'm a Scot!

If you take sectarianism, shocking health statistics, cold weather, high murder rate and a chips with everything mentality out of the equation then we are the greatest country in the world. But I wouldn't be anything else
