I need something to put credits and debits in and it show the remaining balance

Microsoft Excel is easily the best free spreadsheet program. It's at Office.com

It has all the MS Suite products and it is completely free. You can safe any of the documents in MS Office format when you click "Save as..." too.

Why don't you try Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Money?
