If they won every game left in their season they would amount to 101 or 102 wins. Reasonably, the highest they could probably win on a super run is about 90 (would be around 60-10 after break), but I don't find that good enough to clinch a wild card. Maybe it is though.

The Pirates are 30-60, 30-60! That's .333 baseball! They have the most losses in the Majors! Plus, 20 games is certainly a lot of ground to make up in a Division of six teams with three playoff contenders to boot.

Their young starting pitching staff needs more time to mature and they need a few more dependable arms. They need to reshuffle the infield and let Sanchez play short. they have some serious trading to do in the next few weeks but unless they can pick up Ted Williams, DiMaggio and Koufax I'm afraid it's wait till next year again....

No its too late for them, but they have a lot of young guys who with a lot of potential who will make the team really good in a few years
