many ppl at my church and neighborhood think im anorexic but im not i eat like 3 meals a day and snacks and stuff but i am 14 yr old and 5'10 and i only weigh 110 lbs ive tried telling ppl that i eat alot but they wont believe me.and the last thing want is to go bac 2 skool and ever1 think anorexic there 2.my mom tells me 2 ignore the rumor but i cant.does any1 have any ideas on how i can stop the rumor(b4 skool starts in aug.)

You can't. You are pretty tall for 14 that is why they are saying this. I would say study anorexia if this really bothers you. If you know what a true anorexic goes through you will be able to correct others in their ignorance. You could even hand them a pamphlet or something. You don't have to eat to convince people of anything. Most of America is overweight anyway so they have no idea about moderation and self control. You are just lucky right now, you might not see it as that but as long as you feel good and are getting proper nutrition it will all work out.

you will get your urge for nutrition back quickly adequate. I do the comparable factor now and back while i'm relatively busy or if there relatively is not any clarification for me to be eating. try telling your mom which you basically are not hungry in a peaceful voice with out yelling. in case you yell, she'll basically think of you're overlaying some thing up and could no longer stop bugging you until eventually she sees you headscarf down an entire roast. Snack around on wholesome issues in the time of the day on an identical time as you're at abode so she sees which you're eating. consume some grapes or some cereal. Even a sprint sandwich. it's going to decelerate your eating at evening and optimistically teach your mom which you're no longer anorexic. solid success. i understand how annoying mothers and fathers would be. My mom has a tendency to over diagnosis issues too.

the only thing to do is suck it up and bear it. sometimes you just have no choice but to develop a thick skin. if these people call themselves christains tell them there breaking the commandment of thou shalt not bear false witness, that was for gossp and rumor mongering as well as for perjury. most of them will probably shut up.
you could also ask them why they don't bust the *** of the cheerleaders....
OR you could try this: next time someone gets in your face say " fine im an annorexic" stick two fingers down their throat and puke all over their shoes.

I understand being naturally skinny, I can't gain wait to save my life, I've tried since I was a kid (I'm now 37). All you can do is eat with them and not worry about it. The biggest thing is to not worry about it, the rumors will pass as your peers are around you and see that you eat normally.

I say go heavey on starch. Go get some soul food. Ribs, cornbread, greens, a lil bit of everthing. Also start sleeping after you eat or eat before you go to bed and the weigt will come

Get a t shirt that says - I am not anorexic. Wear it in public.

You do sound a little underweight to me. Maybe you should go to a nutritionist to make sure you are eating properly.

thru prayer. talking with god. go to god. he'll help u thru this.
there may be a reason that u r giving all these people to think this way.
this is a whole lot of different people. i can understand 1 or 2 people thinking this, but maybe your actions speak louder then words.
re-evaluate your life.
maybe they see things u don't.
prayer is the answer.

As long as you are healthy, who cares what other people think!
If you really are eating healthy, be thankful that your metabolism is keeping you thin.
Maybe get into sports, a little muscle will fill out your skin and bones.

at church functions or any place where there will be food dont say no thanks, instead eat the food and they may change their minds about you not eating! and dont obsess over your body by always saying uhh i am soo fat! i hate it when skinny people do that! people still dont believe you then as long as you arent anorexic ignore them! you know the truth!

You can't - so live with it.

Concentrate more on eating healthy and getting good exercise. Have a doctor's exam if you haven't already.

And most important, if you are lying, TALK TO YOUR PARENTS TODAY.
