Very short (21 days) or very long (35+ days) cycles may mean that you aren't ovulating. (No guarantees, though.) Mine was 35-37 days and I had to go on a mild fertility medication to conceive my son. If I were you, I'd go to earlypregnancytests.com and buy the little green ovulation test strips in bulk (they're cheap). Read the instructions and use them everyday for a month or two. If you're not ovulating, go to the ob/gyn to get his or her help. I tried for a year before getting on Clomid and it took 6 more months to conceive. That is extremely frustrating.
You can also chart your temp and mucus levels. I was just too lazy to do all that for long.
Good luck and baby dust to you!

You get your menstrual flow because you have ovulated and your egg did not get fertilized. You ovulate once a month approximately mid cycle. In your case it would be around day 18.

To find out for sure track your basal body temps each morning for a few cycles and it will tell you if you are ovulating or not. A good site is www.fertilityfriend.com and a good book is Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. Good luck!

Yes you should. Get an OPK so you can predict exactly whn it is that you are ovulating.
