You asked a very complex question. Washington is very diverse. Do you want to live in the urban heartbeat, the ocean cities, the Mountains, the farmland...

I live near Mt. Rainier. I own a three bedroom home on one acre of wooded land. I pay $900.00 mo insurance, taxes etc.

Rental of the same can be found anywhere between $800- 1g a month.

South Pierce County is beautiful.
You can find a two bedroom apartment for less than $550.00

I am a caregiver making $10 hr. If you are willing to commute 1-1.5 hours per day, Tacoma wages are much better.

There are many excellant schools to choose from all over Washington. What accedemic level are you looking for.

Washington is growing fast, the hiways and freeways are not, nor are many of the side streets. Microsoft and other companies are getting fed up and considering moving.

You need the PNW attitude.... Sit back, relax... enjoy. Crank up your stereo, books on tape... etc.

I LOVE WASHINGTONNNNNNN.
The people even in downtown are quite friendly. If you ever get lost don't hesitate to ask for help.

You learn to live life rain or shine. Bring your rubber booties, roller blades, bike, and hiking boots and a positive attitude, and you will do just fine.

Try the Tacoma News tribune and the little Nickle Classified, South Pierce County.

Don't shoot so far. Star with the deadbeats about a thousand miles directly south of you. That other place is the land of the dead, I think.
