I just got those pads, and it contains 2% Salicylic Acid. Is it way to strong for my skin?

YOU ARE USING TOO MUCH OF IT . YOU ARE DRYING OUT YOUR SKIN . BETTER GET SOME MOISTURISER TO BALANCE OUT YOUR PH LEVEL.

Well, I would think that maybe stinging isn't a good thing to have happen. I wouldn't use it anymore if it did. However, I know some of those acne pads are for very severe acne. I guess it just depends on how much acne you have and how sensitive your skin is. Have you tried other acne products or is this the first one?

It stings because it's too strong and is irritating your skin rather than healing it.

I used to have really bad acne, tried EVERYTHING, and only recently found a skin care line that actually works. My skin looks amazing now.

I use the Miracle Set (combination to oily) by Mary Kay. The set will give you younger looking skin, fewer lines, improved firmness, and even skin tone. It's very gentle and will not irritate your face. http://www.marykay.com/adina_k/skincare/...

Then, you should throw in the Blemish Control Toner 3, which is an acne medication that leaves your skin free of excess oil. http://www.marykay.com/adina_k/skincare/...

The last thing is the Acne Treatment Gel. It will dry and clear blemishes, and allows skin to heal without irritation.

Just be sure to always properly moisturize, even while breaking out. If you don't, your skin will start to produce extra oils to compensate and you'll just break out more.

salicylic acid is way much softer than benzoyl peroxide... th problem her is that it may contain other ingredients that are not helping and are too strong ... also bathing daily cleanses the skin, but it also can dry it out, causing it to look dull, but most importantly, it may cause irritation and remove the natural emolients your body produces to keep it healthy. When you bathe, always use a moisture-rich cleanser, and always pamper your skin with a daily moisturizer....always avoid using too many products formulatted with mineral oil, animal products or byproducts , the problem with using these as ingredients is that your skin is not absorbing it and it stays on the top making your pores clog and maybe seeing a temporry, it is like putting celophane paper on your skin and putting the lotions or cremes on it.... also, mineral oil is the 2nd worse thing you could do to your skin, it would be like rubbing car oil on it and exposing yourself to the sun, the sun is #1 and it is the 90% of lines on your skin.... Avoid animal products because these do no get absorbed by our skin and they come from dead animals from the road, meatmarkets etc., you see there are these rendering plants (recycle for animals) that they pick all the dead animals and they put them in a huge pot, squash everything inside, boil it and what comes to the top is what companies use to formulate their "beauty" products... gross i know... the lipsticks, lip balms, eww ... anyway, use botanically based products for everything, skin care, makeup, body care, aromatherapy, i use arbonne products and they work just great, thier makeup are vegetale, their skin care roducts are amazing only from plants no chemicals, nature, and their antiaging line is just awesomw, they are so convinced you will like their line that they have a 45 money back guarantee if you are not satisfied w/ their products you return and they give you $ back, that is why i startec to use them, because no other line does this, not estee lauder, lancome, none of them and well i had nothing to loose just the curiosity.. so i buy them online at: http://arbonnepuertorico.myarbonne.com under shop online and i receive my products in my house with nobody bothering me nor pushing me to buy.... if i need help i can call a consultant but it would be up to you... anyway try them they are really great .....

they're seposed to make your skin "tingle" but if it's actually stinging you should stop using them & try something for sensitive skin because they're probably too harsh for your skin

No, it just has that effect, BUT if you notice that it is irritating your skin try using it less or less of it
