i would assume she meant the movies and if i found out she had other plans i would have ground her. and if this bar was letting in underage minors i would call ABC on their @sses. i went to a bar in Fenton MO this weekend and dad of the year walked in at 12:00 am on a Sat night with his 9 and 12 yr old and then brought them up to the bar and ordered himself a BUSH Lite and the kids a coke he seemed very upset when the bouncer asked them to leave i thought i was on a redneck version of the Jerry Springer show. i guess this don't relate to the question very well but the moral is KIDS DON"T BELONG IN BARS!!!! even if they aren't being served alcohol it is still a bad environment kids that young are very impressionable and you don't want them growing up thanking that's how all adults act in public.

If it was an all ages show and you were going with then or some other parent that YOU knew was going then yes. Otherwise NO! I would question what the bar was up to if they were going to allow teens in their establishment. Definitely check with the Bar/Club and find out. Remember YOu are the adult here and not your CHILD!
I think it would be great if their were underage clubs for kids to go to so they could be safe and enjoy music, and arts designed for them. I believe a kid has the right to express themselves. Their is a line that needs to be drawn as well and you need to be the one who draws that line. Care for your kids and explain to them why you love them and remember to listen to what they have to say and let them e3xpress how they feel . You in return will get greater respect from them.

All right Mimi. Take that shot at the young 'uns. (really confused & holy cow) Nothing like stating the obvious. Well, and apparently unobvious from H. Cow.
I would assume movie but it also depends on the history of the brat. If she has a tendency for rebellion (which she does) than I would definitely be thinking Bar.

It is never a bad idea to ask the following questions:
1) Where are you going?
2) Who are you going with?
3) Will there be parental supervision?
4) What is the phone number in case of an emergency?
5) Will they be serving alcohol?
If the answer to any of these quesitons is unsatisfacory, it is our job as parents to call them on it. Some people call us strict, but when puch comes to shove, our kids know they can count on us. Take care!

My fifteen year-previous son is sitting no longer 5 ft from me, playing XBOX-stay jointly with his acquaintances at the same time as i exploit his pc. he's fairly taller than me, with hair that lays in delicate waves, and which quite needs trimmed yet he refuses a cut back. he's skinny, painfully so, and would't weigh more desirable than 100 thirty kilos. He and his acquaintances are looking for system faults on the recent Rainbow 6 sport he offered the day gone by, and from what i will inform they're having an attractive time. His Easter sweet is in a bowl between his ft, and his bedroom floor is plagued by Starburst wrappers. He knows i'm tucking some funds into his wallet for a planned vacation to Pittsburgh on Monday, and he's executed no longer something yet communicate about the garments he needs to purchase on the mall after my physician appointment. it is what childhood might want to be. twiddling with acquaintances, eating sweet and searching ahead to an afternoon contained in the city. no longer beating your self bloody and enduring crucifixion. merely examining this tale makes me prefer to cry.

When my boy was 15 and he asked to go to the show, I didn't realize he meant the strip show at the ti++y bar. He told me about it some time later. He was very good at the fake I.D. thing and all the other tricks. He turned out fine, hell I was just as bad at that age.
She will grow up to be a fine woman, just like her mom.....or is that what your concerned about mimi?? (j/k)

Just ask her. But even if he is going to a bar it is still illegal for her to drink there. A lot of bars have all ages shows where they don't even serve alcohol.

I made that mistake once. She said she was going to the show with her best friend, and her older brother was taking them. When she went to leave I noticed how she was dressed and her and her friend were giggling nervously. I called the other parents. We put two and two together. We ruined their fun when we showed up at the "show". My daughter hated me for a month or so for it.
