When you are in your preteens and teens,
you have boyfriends but they aren't really serious.
Most don't get serious boyfriends till between 16-18.
(Think high school sweetheart: your first real true love.)
That is just a general rule.
It really depends on the girl,
her life situation,
how sheltered she was growing up,
if she can find the right guy,
her family,
personal morals/values/religion, ect.
Many considerations to think about.! :)

No time frame. The later the better because then you have mature mind. Don't hurry to be there because the world is not always bright and beatiful.

If you're old enough to know what's right from wrong. What's real and what's not, then you're old enough to have one.

If your boyfriend respects your desires and decisions then you can say that he a good boyfriend.
