Well, great actors. Lots of action, suspense, and a bit of humor. Then again, there is practically no movie i can think of rite now that doesn't suggest a slight bit of romance. A good movie is set up nicely and runs smoothly from start to finish. An awesome movie will make you want to watch it again, even if you've seen it 5 times that week. Keep you guessing and rediretcing the plot. Making things unpredictable and not so obvious. The lines, music, title, actions, scenery, and a whole bunch of other stuff too make a movie better. If one thing is off, it could ruin the entire movie. So a good movie keeps you interested and makes you want to sit and watch, no matter how bad you have to go to the bathroom. lol.

Good actors. There are thousands of great actors out there waiting to be discovered but can't be because of people like David Arquette and Hilary Duff that get the good movie roles but can't act. I'm sick of seeing the "pretty" people on the screen that shouldn't really be there. Give someone else that would actually appreciate and work hard a good movie. Look at what Oliver James did in What A Girl Wants. He was a first time actor given a big movie role and did wonderfully in my opinion.

A good movie is made from a pretty simple plot. That way, viewers can focus on many aspects of the movie, not just what's going on the story. For instance, the acting, lighting, sound, humor, and editing really sticks out. In addition, it allows for the movie's message to be clear.

Suspense and thinking one thing and in the end it's totally not what you thought. Like in the movie The Village.

Good Writing.......If the writing is good you can get sucked into the movies and feel for the characters...

It's all about well written, realistic charecters. If you don't care about the charecters, the movie has failed.
