look down kind of under the passenger side under and a little to the right of the battery(if you are standing looking at the engine from front). It is hard to see but depending on the style some of them have a yellow looped tip. I assume that this is an automatic. You should check the tranny like your engine oil, with the car off and on flat ground. If you have a stick then it is a 17mm plug that you really have to get from underneath. It is on the passenger side of the tranny towards the top.

if you really can't find it from on top, get under it and find the metal tube coming from the side of your tranny and have a friend on top follow where you direct their attention.
