Evil is a strong word.....I think what we're seeing on the news right now in Israel and Lebanon is frightening- that is a delicate balancing act we cannot underestimate! However, I believe North Korea is a greater threat to US security. The misfired missile was headed offshore Hawaii, which I find infuriating, and Kim Il Jung is acting like a spoiled brat....I've heard that he is legitimately crazy, but I've also heard contradictions....the bottom line is that we won't get straight answers or full cooperation from a communist country. China is laying low, but I think our real threat lies in a bond between those two countries....

This is just my opinion, but I think the actions of Hamas and Hezbollah are just feints, designed to test Israel's resolve and the strength of her alliances. I think Israel, is putting out the message that they have the capability and the political will to go in and oust any Lebanese and Palestinian government that poses a threat to Israel, whether they be democratically elected or not.
I think the real threat is Iran. I think Ahmadinejad is just crazy enough to fire a nuclear missile at Israel the moment he gets his hands on one. North Korea's missile testing is I think related to Iran's nuclear program. The missile test seems to me like a technological demonstration. North Korea is not building long-range missile just to deter the United States -- they probably intend to sell the technology once it has been perfected. Iran builds the bomb, North Korea perfects the rocketry and guidance (GPS for everyone?) They get together, seeing that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend", voila, another seal is broken from Pandora's box

The Indian Bombings is probably the only "threat".
North Korea and Iran have always been and will always be working on a Weapons program, like most other countries. There's nothing you can do about that. And Israel is always occupying Lebanon and Palestine. This is nothing new. Everybody invades Lebanon.
