Is there a way to develop a STANK in a fridg that will never go away...and I mean NEVER.?

MY MOTHER-IN-LAW...I was fed the following story by the MIL:

It began as "Your Uncle "Ralph" would like to give you the fridge he got in the divorce." Nice refridgerator, very generous of him - never agreed to accept - just talked about it.

Two weeks later we get a contact info request for Uncle R...along with what we assumed to be the REST OF THE STORY- Uncle R needs to get it out of storage and store it in your garage until he needs it again...we decide that uncle R can store it himself. We have new house, full gar. Wife informs MIL.

Today I get an email from MIL --> "I figured I would let you handle this. Sorry. MIL" An attached email from Uncle R asking for contact info, again. I call Uncle R to explain that we cannot store his fridg...then I find out the fridge's final home >>> MIL's HOUSE!!!

MIL will soon ask us to take fridg 5hrs to her home.

MANIPULATIVE MIL!!!

pop open the light bulb holder and put in rotten fish from a tackle shop and unplug the plug so it doesnt refridgerate the fish and keep it fresh so it will rot then prop open the fridge so all of he cold leaves and it gets warm and rotts the fish and then in a day or so close the fridge so no one hase an idea what is going on and leave for a week and then take the fish out right before they come to get the fridge when you tell them you cant keep it and they have to take it back

Manipulative, and sad, story.

There is (unfortunately for you) always a way to get any odor out of a fridge - no matter what. Some of those foamy bathroom cleaners are also recommended as safe for fridge cleaning; the fridge can be cleaned out with a vinegar solution, left with the door open for a while, then several open boxes of baking soda can be added before any food goes in. (I'm sure that there are even stronger things that can be used, but have never had a fridge bad enough to use them).

Wish I could think of a suitable "punishment" for your MIL - she deserves to suffer somewhat for this prank of her's.

it's the bacteria that makes it stink. when the door is closed, and the fridge is not plugged in, it would be warmer inside, and moist -- breeding ground for bacteria. if you don't want it to stink, clean it with bleach, keep the fridge open (unplugged) at all times so that it's dry.

my gosh, that's really annoying -- both uncle and MIL! they turned your new home into a storage house.

oh wait a minute -- you want it to stink? i didn't get it the first time. if you know anybody in college taking up a microbiology course? maybe he/she can take you home some cultured bacteria and store it in the fridge (make it warm) and shut the door for 1 week. or use a cloth to clean a really dirty part in your house then use it to clean the fridge -- wet of course, and leave it closed. that'll put the stink in it. or throw in some rotten food inside. hehehe... good luck with your plan! ;-)

This is the best advice you'll ever get. Family is family. Sometimes they're not perfect, and sometimes they take advantage.

Don't be unkind. Your MIL might just leave you a bundle when she leaves this world, never burn your bridges or 'stank' her refrigerator.
If you 'stank' the refrigerator, she'll leave it to YOU, and the crown jewels, the cars, and the MILLIONS to some other relative.

ok first get juicer or blender get onions rotten fruit then put in a rather large bowl then fart in the bowl then get a dash of rotten milk in the bowl and some water and make yourself sweat and rub your sweat off and mix it in the bowl and put salt and spit in the bowl and burp in the bowl and and put neem oil in the bowl put toilet water in the bowl and mix it all togeather put in a blender or juicer and blend of juice and put in a spray bottle and spray the liquid in the refrigerator make sure throw away the bowl and thorw away the bottle and take a shower. And that's how you make your fridge stank a lot!

If it's not plugged in or running, just leave it closed tight. Mold and mildew will form even if there is nothing in the fridge, and you CANNOT get rid of it when it forms IN the walls of the fridge.

I'd think some type of oil, fish oil, or something from the hunting section in say walmart of some sporting goods place would have a good idea.
