Well, where in Switzerland do you live? Most Swiss don't have a 4WD as most streets in the rather flat areas are kept black.
Best choice would be a normal car or station wagon, not a SUV (too high costs for everything). I don't know your budget, but perhaps you can inform yourself on Subaru (all models), Audi (all models with 4WD as option), Jaguar X-Type, Mercedes or BMW (each most models with 4WD as option), Volvo V70 and others.
I suggest you the links of the two biggest used car online markets (sorry not in English) plus the biggest single used car company in Switzerland (only German, choose "Allrad" on the left).
In case you would like some closer advice, write an e-mail - I'm living in Switzerland and do know the car market quite well.

1976-1989 full size chevy Blazer with snow tires and some bricks in the back. (see pic). but old VW Beetles were made with snow in mind. Any 4wd is ok..I'd choose something big and heavy to pack down the snow for traction. they must have some nice 4x4s is Switzerland used.

The Ford F350. THis can get you out of anything (better than any Jeep Range Rover or Hummer). But it is expensive.
