This is a question i've always wondered i've alway been made to believe that our time to die is already set okay so i ask this is are lives already drawn out he we love, what we acheive, how we prosper. its a sad thought if all choices we make are really not ours that they've already been decided by a higher power

you can plan your future. but God had it planned out for you already. he knows the day you will die and the day you will move into a new house or get married. but we can control our future and make our plans. if we plan on getting a new house and for example during the entire year of trying to save up money we are not able to. becus of medical bills and problems and issues. things might look bad, right? well you can chose to quit and stop there or you can say, " forget all thos problems im going to get a new house!" so you work extra hard to get that house. you see our future is planed out by God and he knows everything that will go on. but he will let you plan out what you want too. even if it turns bad. you will have to go through some troubles in life.

Unfortunately I believe that we do have a set destiny, but the journey to get there is our own experience due to the choices that we make, the people that we meet and how many times we make the same mistake.
Have you noticed how people who make a mistake and don't learn from it seem to repeat that mistake over and over again 'til they get it?
Have you ever planned to do something and ended up doing something completely different due to unforeseen circumstances arising? Why did those circumstances arise and what would have happened, who would have we encountered if we had gone ahead with our plan?
They say that God gave us free will, but his spirit is there to guide us.
Don't stress about it just enjoy the ride!

That's what I think about when I think of destiny. I would like to make my own decisions..or at least think I am controlling my fate. I really feel that being proactive is better than just waiting or expecting something to happen. So, if there is destiny..fine..but I do not want to know that is it.

There's no such thing as destiny, or luck. Your life is yours to do with as you please and no one or no thing can change that.
Anyone who believes all is pre-destined must be a complete idiot. Slap yourself in the face...go ahead - it was destined to happen...LOL!
Anyway - Understand that life is simply a mass of random happenings occuring at the same time. You have a life of your own and no higher power is going to affect that. You've been given a mind of your own, so use it!!

Your life is a road map of choices. Destiny may put people on the same road together, but it is YOUR choice that puts you on that particular road in the first place. Go left or go right...the choice is yours.

i believe they are written but you have the choice if you get there and how you do it you can take the hard road or pay attention to signs to get you where you are suppose to be on time
