Slip on sandals made of rubber, plastic or some other waterproof substance. You do not want to step into a shower shared by others without them on your feet. You don't want to end up with athlete's feet or a fungus. And yes...girls can get it too.

lamps, shower shoes, lightbulbs, duct tape, simple tool kit, simple first aid kit, cleaning supplies (Windex, Pledge, dishsoap, etc.), plastic bins to store stuff, hangers, cork board to hang pictures, a wall calander, an alarm clock, batteries, trash can, a George Foreman mini grill, dishes silverware and cups, etc.

toaster oven, and small fridge/freezer. you can cook a little, and keep food and drink onhand. saves you some money, instead of eating out all the time, or you get tired of cafeteria food. :-)
