My oldest was almost 2 when she got her current eye color, she is now 10.
My son was about 6 months.
My youngest is a year and not quite sure what is going on with her eye color. The are Dark blue with a ring of brownish-green around the pupil.
All kids are different

When a baby is first born, the eye still has not fully developed a dark pigment known as melanin that helps “color” eyes and skin. Blue or gray eyes (which many Caucasian babies have at birth) in a newborn mean that melanin is virtually absent within the eye’s colored portion (iris). When your baby is about six months old, you’ll have a better idea of eye color as pigmentation begins to form and brown or darker eyes might appear. The baby’s eye color should be determined by about age one, although some individuals may experience eye color changes through adulthood.
People of Asian, African-American, Hispanic, or native American descent often have babies who are brown-eyed at birth because of darker pigmentation (melanin)

Doctors will tell you that a baby's eyes can continue to change throughout the entire first year. My daughter was born with gray-blue eyes and they changed to brown after only a few weeks and have stayed brown. Like so many things in life I think it all just depends...

Usually within the first 6 months, but occasionally it can take longer. I've never seen a caucasian baby born with anything but blue eyes.

Eyes can change even later. When I was 6 and in first grade, I had blue eyes. By the time I was in second grade, I had green eyes. My brother did the same way, except his eyes changed to hazel.

the articles i have read in baby magazines indicate it can take up to 12 months for the color change to occur. our baby was born with the muddy blue eyes that most infants come with "from the factory" but both parents have dominant brown eyes, so if they don't change to brown, she was switched at birth! :)

Our baby was born with light blue eyes, then at about 8 months they changed to green. His eyes did not stop changing and at about 18 months they settled on what now looks kind like a greenish yellow.
Another case is my cousin. His case was very strange because he was born with light brown eyes then at about 12 y.o. his eyes began getting lighter and they now look green. That was very weird!!!

My sons eye color settled down to green when he was about twelve. His dad was hazel eyed and I come from a long line of brown. No one, for all known back generations of both sides, have green eyes. And yes, the father was the father!

I've just had a baby, my pediatritian told me they all have dark blue eyes when they're born and their eyes will go to their normal colour at 3 months of age.
