On I.E., go to 'TOOLS', 'INTERNET OPTIONS', then click on 'SETTINGS', then 'VIEW FILES'. You won't believe all the junk there!!!! (Cookies.) You can delete the 'COOKIES' file in 'INTERNET OPTIONS', but remember, it may cause you to have to enter your name and password again on some sites you visit, like Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.. No big deal. Gets rid of a LOT of junk!!

Different Browsers and OSs store cookies in different places (and in different ways). IE stores one cookie per file, whereas most every other browser stores all the cookies in a single data file. The name of the file usually matches the website it is for (www.yahoo.com or just yaho.com).
The cookie data is almost always encoded so it won't mean much to you anyway, and now days, aabout the only thing websites store in a cookie is your user ID for their site, so when you go their site, they just look-up all your prefs in a database they keep.

In your browser click on tools then internet options. Click on the General tab. Click on Settings. Another dialog box will pop up. Click on View Files. Your cookies will then come up and there will probably be alot of them.

Start>Control Panel>Internet Options>General
under Temporary Internet Files, click on settings,
click on view files
If you're using internet explorer and you want to manage your cookies, use a neat freeware utility called IECookiesView
- http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/iecookies.html
only 55kb download
or CookieJar
- http://www.snapfiles.com/get/cookiejar.html
