The Argosy casino is your best bet, and Ameristar is the second choice. Don't count out Kansas...new entertainment district in Kansas City, KS has great entertainment,restuarants,and movies, Called The Legends, I am sure you can find it on the Net. Don't go to the Zoo. not only is it steamy hot, but it's not worth the heat!
Research Zona Rosa, another hang out shooping/eating spot. And There's crown center for shows and shooping, and the the train station, has a theatre and more. Also the best BBQ is Famous Daves (by the legends), followed by Zarda!

If you all are shoppers it has alot of outlet malls that are great. The zoo is neat, but may be a bit hot out! As for Kansas nothing in that state. I would suggest getting on the web for concerts etc. As for the casino's they really suck! Most of them have a limit that you can play each hour, but the food in most is good.

Ameristar and Harrahs are the best casinos. Ameristar has the best restaurants. For shopping, Westport area has many choices of higher end stores and the outlet mall (The Great Mall) in Olathe, KS has great prices.

Take a little trip to st joe exit off on the belt highway lots of great things on that strip and its only about 30 minutes away at the most
