I dont think the all-star game she be the determining factor in deciding home field for the World Series. I think how it goes in other sports where the team with the best record get home field. The way it goes now does make the all star game much more meaningful but it still doesnt really seem fare. If the mets were to make it and say so did oakland. The A's shouldnt get home field when no one on their team had much to do with the AL win. The team with the best record get it.

Home field advantage for the 2007 World Series should go to the league that wins the 2007 All-Star game at AT&T Park in San Francisco.

Going against my feelings that the All-Star Game should not have ANY effects on the rest of the season and/or postseason, should it really make a difference where the game is played?
First of all, both teams abide by the same rules. It isn't as if the American League gets a DH and the National League doesn't.
Secondly, with so many pitchers and players on the All-Star roster, players are substituted in almost every inning, so it's as if they have a (fresh) designated hitter, any way.

No, they should eliminate that ridiculously stupid policy and go back to rotating it back and forth between the AL and NL. Or give home team advantage to the team with the best record. But making the decision based on the outcome of the dog-and-pony show that is the stupid all-star game is asinine.
It's no wonder major league baseball is losing fans left and right. They're clueless. The real America's pastime is now football.

Yes absolutely,
they won the all-star game that's all there is to it.
I'm not just saying that because I am an American League fan.
I am not,
I'm a National league fan.

Since the AL will win the All-Star game again anyway, they should not play the game and automatically give the AL team home field.
Will make it easier for the White Sox to win their 3rd title in a row.

i don't think of the All megastar recreation ought to make sure who receives living house container benefit till they substitute the rule of thumb that each crew desires to have one participant. With this rule you won't be able to say that both communities are making use of absolutely the finest of the league and for this reason it will be an exhibition. living house container ought to visit the crew with the most acceptable record or perchance they'd have a a million recreation playoff in a impartial web site to ascertain who receives it.
