Well it's not readily available but the absolute best thing in the world for tough even set in stains is Melaleuca's PreSpot Plus. I use to work for them at their home office here in Idaho and it took 5 day old spaghetti sauce out of my sons onesie! I was hooked from there! http://www.melaleuca.com
From a grocery store my sis in law swears by that toddler spray in wash (It's called Totally Toddler). It is in the baby section at like Wal-Mart and that. She uses it for stains on the floor and on her 10 month olds clothes. Maybe you could try that!

Since you have already washed them they probably won't come out. Look up Hints from Heloise. I bet she has something to help get stains out. Probably vinagar or put some Clorox 2 directly on the stain and then scrub it in with a tooth brush or something. That might take it out. I know that it got grass and dirt out of my sons baseball pants. He is 7 by the way so you know they were really dirty.

this doesn't help with old stains, but with new ones - rinse and scrub right away - when you wash it, don't put the clothes in the dryer - the heat sets the stains in. If you hang the clothes outside to dry, the sun sometimes fades the stain....good luck!

i have had the best luck with shout stick or spray & wash stick with scrubbing end. you have to treat the stain before you wash and dry it - and if you have already put the clothes through the dryer, its too late! always check to see if the stain comes out before you put it in the dryer, because the dryer will just set the stain in for good.

I have had wonderful success with a product called Borateam. You may remember it from when we were kids and they advertised the 40 mule team...borateam. You can make a simple paste with the soap and water to pretreat the soiled item. Let it sit for just a few minutes and then wash with Borateam added to your Dreft or Ivory baby detergent. The instructions are on the box and you can buy it at most grocery stores.

it truly is importand to detect a product with enzymes in it, and let it soak somewhat. Spray & Wash or Shout worked properly for us. I always re-washed it later on to get the chemical compounds out. If it has already been by potential of the dryer it should be a lot tougher to eliminate. An Oxy purifier may artwork if so in spite of the indisputable fact that it ought to also eliminate the dye counting on the garments maker.

I always used Vivid on my kids clothes when they were little and it always got the stains out. Sometimes you have to wash them a couple of times, but it works.

I am not sure how to get rid of the old stains, but to prevent new stains make sure you rinse the item of clothing in cold water and soap as soon as it gets dirty. Scrub, scrub, scrub.
