I want to simply prove to some people I know that women can be as smart as men, but I cannot find my words.
How would you simply prove to someone that women can be as smart as men?

Well, the bottom line is that you don't need to prove anything.
Intelligence doesn't depend on gender: Women should just be *assumed* to be "as smart as" men (and vice versa).
And honestly, if you have to justify this to someone, they probably won't accept any justification you might offer them. You are wasting energy trying to convince them.
Not only is intelligence distributed among both genders [hmm... btw, is Marilyn Vos Savant still ranked as the "highest IQ" in the world right now? She's a woman, you know], but there are different types of intelligence besides number-crunching book smarts.
There are guys who could blow holes in the sides of ships with their IQ, who are yet completely clueless in how to relate to other people or take care of themselves or even balance a checkbook. Their lives end up being completely ineffectual and useless because they are smart in one way and not in another.
There are good women world leaders, women scientists, women researchers, women professionals, women counselors -- oh my, a whole host of women who have proven themselves "worthy" to be considered intelligent. And there have been lots of men who have proven themselves incapable of using their heads effectively (check out the current politics and world news, if you want to see this in action). The evidence is simply overwhelming.
Really, don't fret over what these people are saying. Aside from giving them these sort of basics as "common sense" proof, you shouldn't waste a lot of energy trying to convince them.

What makes you think women cannot be smarter then men? You question already implies they are only capable of being equal. This is not true equality. You may prove it by picking a female best answer over mine if it is indeed better.

What do you mean "can be" ? We are as smart as men! Some women are smarter than men and some men are smarter than women. We are equal mentally. I consider myself smarter than some men because one look from me across the dancefloor and I don't have to buy drinks all night!!

Women are as smart as men. If you have to prove it to them, then they are not as smart as women.

Here in the UK, girls are out performing boys in just about every academic subject at the moment. The education system favours girls at the moment. We are educating youngsters for a future without industry.
