you're certainly doing the right thing by taking financial responsibility! kudos for being a good guy! as for telling your parents, I am of the opinion that you should. first, because every grandparent deserves to have the chance to meet their grandkids. second, because how are they going to feel 20 years from now when they find out that you had a child that you never told them about?
how you tell them is a difficult one... it could be tough, but you have to just get it done. even if your family takes it really hard, eventually they will forgive you. good luck!

I am sure you love your parents but just remember that they're much older than you and they won't live forever.
With this child, you started a family of your own. Even if you won't keep a relationship with the mom, your ties with the child will last forever. Money is not everything, you most think of spending time with him. This kid will be there for the rest of your life and he might end up choosing your nursing home one day. I would say that you need to tell your parents, be a man and stand up for your child. Their fuss will be over in a week or less and you'll be able to openly enjoy your child. Good luck!

It is a good thing not to marry, if you both choose. But that does not make anything right. Live up to your responsibility to the child, and to your parents as well. Dont compound your guilt by trying to bury it. Also be prepared, that one day the child may want to know his father.

Come clean and fess up to your parents.
Whatever you decide to do, just make sure your child comes first.
Give em a happy home, keep them fed, and give all the love possible.
Best Wishes
