first count on getting some mean and rude responses as there are a lot of mean and rude people out there but there are more nice and polite ones so ask away....many here are very friendly and helpful, just skip the stupid and rude responses and concentrate on the nice responses. but above all don't be afraid to ask anything you want (within yahoo guidelines of course) have fun, enjoy the interaction of millions worldwide talking and helping one another !

Lovely Jess, a couple of things to remember when asking questions: Always use the Check Spelling. Do a search on Google to see if the answer is there, that will save you five points. Do not type in Capital Letters - it annoys many people. Never give your correct name, address or even your email address - there are many weird people on this site. Do not necessarily accept the answers as fact, there are a lot of false replies posted with sometimes very bad advice. Always choose 'Best Answer' the following day. Apart from that, enjoy yourself and ask whatever you like, even if you think that your question is stupid - what may seem stupid to someone else may be the most important question in your life to-date. Take care....

Well, you probably need to toughen up some and take everything with a laugh except those that are crude and disgusting in which case you can report them. And don't ask questions that gives info that you don't want others to know. There are questions that I have that I wouldn't ask on here.

Don't be afraid, it's rare to get mean responses... Only if your question is so stupid that people can't help themselves. But if thats the case then just ignore the mean people. Everyone here is very nice and helpful.

I say nice things to nice people.
I may be 'mean' occassionaly when someone asks a degrading, racially biased, or otherwise offensive question.
I think that if you have a serious question and ask it when good manners and tact, you'll get positive responses.

Somebody requires more schooling years...
"Afraid" was spelled wrong, and the word "responces" does not exist.

You just did ask a question, and opened yourself up to mean responses. Who cares? You don't know who anyone is-if you want an opinion, ask, cuz it will be given freely! Ask away and have fun with it!

Yeah, you can always report people if they say something to offend you. Plus it doesn't matter what they say - they only reason they say mean things is because they're on the internet, and being anonymous gives them power because nobody knows who they are.
