I would say no. If you receive a really important call while oerdering the pizza, you need to cancel the order and just call back.
We ALL know how annoying "hold" is!!!!!
We expect it from businesses. Matter of fact, I would be in shock if I ever called ANY company or business that did NOT put me on hold! I'd think therre was something wrong! LOL

It's okay because how many times have you called a pizza place and you are put on hold before you get to order, you are put on hold while they ring in your order, you are put on hold when you ask how much it is going to be... I've even been told to call back after 20 minutes of this so I could make my payment, then I'm put on hold again, and then on hold again so they can find my order and tell me how much it is going to be and put on hold again while they ring my trans through... by the time I finished ordering and paying, my pizza had arrived... okay, so maybe I vented a little, but they can wait...

Your other call can wait. Putting the pizza place on 'hold' might warrant you bad service as they're most likely busy. I'm sure you wouldn't be happy if you were in the middle of placing your order and they put you on hold for an 'important' call.

I think it is not at all appropriate to hold while ordering a pizza, for any reason, becoz as ong as you hold the call, the pizza parlouray be otherorders. So it is best to decide your order before you call the parlour.

It is highly inappropriate to call a place of business and put them on hold. If you get an important call, advise the pizza place you will have to call them back. They are trying to run a business and they cannot give the best customer service to the other customers if they are having to hold for you!

LOL,my favorites were 17. Rattle off your order with a determined air. in the journey that they ask in case you want drinks with that, panic and develop into disoriented... 13. Say hi, act a great deal surprised for 5 seconds, then behave as if they referred to as you. 12. in the journey that they repeat the order to envision they have it excellent, say "ok. That'll be $10.ninety 9; please pull as a lot because the first window." 5. at the same time as the order is repeated, substitute it fairly. at the same time as it is repeated lower back, substitute it lower back. on the third time, say, "you in basic terms do not get it, do you?" 3. State your order and say it is so some distance as this relationship is going to get

That is exactly why I hate call waiting. If you didn't have it they would have gotten a busy signal and called you back after you finished placing your order. Call waiting is just rude. One call at a time is all anybody needs to handle.
