My car is Pontiac grand am 2001, and I need to adjust its headlight angles. They are too low. I found two hexangular screws on top of each headlight after I opened the hood. With the light on, I tried to adjust each of them using a screwdriver, but neither of them turning changed the headlight vertically or horizontally. I'm puzzled and would like to ask if any expert knows what's going on. Thanks so much in advance.

Those are the adjustments. If they are not moving at all I am going to guess that they are not hooked to the headlight correctly. This happens all the time. Just look to make sure that the slot on the screw is inside the groove on your headlight assembly. After that you should be golden. Hope I have been helpful.
