Victorian Era had a big hand in this. Now, remember, it was never a good thing for a woman to talk about. If they did, they were considered promiscuous and may get into trouble. Queen Victoria, tho, made it worse. She was so uptight, that she made all these rules. Gloves at all times. A woman couldn't sit on a seat a man left his warmth on. Sex is a procreative act and nothing more. PDA was right out. But at the same time, there were rules for how to cheat on your wife and the like. I think sex is natural, but not always do I want to hear about it.

Yes it is natural. But so many have made something beautiful into something dirty and to be ashamed of. If sex is done between two married adults, it is the most beautiful thing in the world.

Since always, because ignorance and sexual taboo, have both been around as long as the act itself. Procreation can be discussed, but not sex, as an act of sharing love. So say the masses. But I find the subject interesting and easy to discuss.

sex is so natural but unless it is understood properly it can lead to perversions,frustrations etc.it is rather difficult to explain it to very young children as they are not mature enough to understand.also it is easier said than done to talk freely about sex as for ages sex has been treated as a sin by many.just as it is very difficult to walk nude on the road even though there is nothing unnatural about it except that the practice is not considered natural.civilisation has its boons as well as banes

it always has been 95% of people get embarassed talking about it because they feel its a private and romantic thing between 2 people the other 5% just excercise Freedom Of Speech
