the oil from the sweat can cause pores to clog and get dirt in them which eventually causes pimples. Your best bet would be to wash your face after exercising.

Yes, that's absolutely true. I know from personal experience and my dermatologist. Sweat is like oil: any type of excess dirty substance will cause you to break out. Touching your face doesn't help either because your fingers have oil on them. Oil on your face is usually what causes pimples, and some foods make it worse too (lol everyone can tell you differently, but it's definitely true. Sweets and fast food are the worst for this. And it might not even be for some people but if you find a certain food makes your acne worse it's best to avoid it). But if your back sweats and you have acne on your back the sweating will eventually worsen it or aggravate it. It's just unclean, I guess that's why.

My information and experience says otherwise. Sweating is a GREAT and natural way to allow the pores to clean themselves--BUT, and this is a very important point, after the sweaty activity, it is VERY important to at least thoroughly rinse the sweat from your face. If your sweat tends to be oily, a gentle, brief face washing (mild soap) may be necessary. Released oils and impurities can re-clog other pores. My skin: clear and glowing.

I know when I sweat alot, I tend to get a few white heads. I think it's because the pore is already clogged and the sweat kind of pushes out the grime.

No, but the extra oil production and the opening/closing of pores will. Wash your face extra well in summer if you're prone to pimples.
