i cant seem to pass the driving test.I can back up fine and do the three point turn fine.. they said I go too fast on my turns and i seem very tense..what can i do to feel more confident? im only nervous when im being tested.

Well, you're just going to have to relax. Take deep breaths before you get in the car and try to remember that it's not that big of a deal. I'm sure you drive well when you're with your parents, just pretend it's your mom sitting next to you.

have different family members and friends ride with you and test you just like the drivers test and keep practicing. the big thing is learning to be confident in your abilities when others are in the car. ride with different people and more than just 1 or 2 to get used to having people there, and tell them to critique you

When you are driving with the instructor (tester) think of them as your best friend sitting there, should relax you a little more! It can be very nerve-wracking so just relax the best that you can and in time you will pass, don't rush anything.

Obviously you need to slow down when you drive. Drive like a granny when you're being tested and remember to take long, deep, slow breaths.

Practice with an a##hole in the car next to you. Have someone "hound" you while driving so you will get used to it when you have to take your test.

i passed mine on my first try. but i only got tested on paralel parking. try to go only about 15-20 mph the whole time and start slowing down sooner before you do your turn. and talk to the instructer the whole time about absolutley nothing and you pass

Pretend you have a fish tank next to you on those turns,and if you go too fast,it will slosh over on your lap,throwing Piranha's/man eating fish? all over the car!!

You need to utilize some relaxation tecniques. You also need to visualize your goal before doing the test and of course, practice, practice, practice.
