Supernatural beings such as witches, demons and ghosts are thought to be at their most powerful during the witching hour. Black magic is suppose to be at its most effective during this time. Midnight is typically the witching hour, but the term is now used to refer to midnight, or any late hour, even without having the associated superstitious beliefs. Some pagan beliefs say that the witching hour is solely midnights when a full moon is present escalating a witch's power to its greatest potential.

To me personally the witchin hour is midnight when the clock is exactly at 00:00. But any hour of the night when given the term ""witching hour" just gets a eerie feeling to it... so suppose to you which ever hour feels more eerie is what your gut has to go with. Mine tells me its 00:00.

Believe the witching hour is from 11:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. One half is for white magic and the other for black magic
