Has the city of San Francisco finished the project of city-wide WiFi?

I'm thinking of traveling to San Francisco and I'd like to know if they've got the city with WiFi access yet. Thanks!

No, it's been delayed by politics and details about how Google will track users. They are doing the city of Mountain View here in the area now.

The city wide FREE access is not yet up. Many places have free access, tho

I've never heard/read that the project has been completed yet. I would think when that happens there will be a lot of fanfare. So I don't believe so.
