my friend seemed to use a lot of money still on boost and the thing is mobile to mobile is only good if all your friends have it....a better deal (for those with maybe not so good credit) is the smart access plan from tmobile....no money up front and depending on your credit it will either be a $35 or $75 activation fee added to your first bill...there are some choices of free phones....u can get their regular packages (like 39.99 for 600 min & free nights & weekends $4.99 for 400 text & picture messages + taxes will only be around $50)...u can also add mobile to mobile for addl charge, but like i said before it all depends on if u have lots of people in that network that u would be talking to in the day.....and they wont let your bill go over $150 (hence the name smart access!)...they also have a better coverage than boost

To tell you the truth, boost mopbile isn't that great. There isn't a wide selection of phones, and the rates are a little high. I would reccomend getting Virgin Mobile instead.
