Well Jamie,
Masterbation is a fact of life. And from the studies that have been done, masterbation is a good thing. I know that some religions condem the act, but from those sciencetific studies, it's good. As for his age, like how every girl gets their periods at different times, he may have gone or is going through puberty at an earlier age. Also next time knock, it's just polite. And yes, he should be locking his door, but if he doesn't have a problem with masturbating in public, then that's his choice. I know that in many rock concerts, they actually masturbate and have sex on stage while singing... but that's a bit overwhelming I think. About telling your parents... I suggest that you don't. No one likes a tattle-tale... leave the decision up to him. I mean, if you masturbate and your brother walked in on you, would you want him telling your parents that he caught you masturbating? I think not.
In conclusion, don't tell your parents, he maybe young but with kids and the media these days, they're subjected to pornography on a daily basis, so I'd assume he's seen some and also maybe peer pressure as well. But just leave him alone, just knock next time. If you do this, he'll eventually learn to lock his door. Hope this helped.

Well now that he knows you just walk in without knocking he will probably lock the door. Don't embarrass him cause he will think it is wrong to do so. Why don't you just say if you want privacy you need to shut and lock your door? That's not saying what you saw.

It is very normal for a male at that age to be curious about their body and to be masterbating. Letting him know that you saw might give him a complex. Do him a favor...next time when going into his room, knock first. That way this situation will be avoided in the future.

This is normal, hes just experimenting and wanting to know. But dont tell your parents, at this age is even emberrasing to be seen at the mall with your parents. Just dont tell him anything if you dont feel confterble enough. BUt he should lock his door! If you get the guts to tell him say, "I wont tell anyone of what I saw, bt make it more private. And for now on nock on the door no matter if its craked open.!!

Don't tell on him.....that could ruin his sexual confidence for life!
One day soon, when the time is right, bring up the incident and just let him know its ok....but he needs to be more careful. He's at a vulnerable age so don't embarass him over it.

respect his privacy he was in his room after all and try knocking next time because you might walk in next time and see more than you bargain for and don't tell your parents he didn't hurt anything other than your pride so try and get over it
