delete your Windows 98 (because Micro$oft won't support it anymore)
and use Linux instead

Windows 98 does not have an administrator password. The passwords are used just for customization. It will log you in even if you press cancel on the login prompt.

Try to find documentation on your computer. There is a jumper on your board that you can jump to override using the password.

Too bad, go to safe mode and reset the password. Remeber the new password!!!!!

Boot ur sys in "command prompt only". Delete *.pwl file where * is user name (that ur sys uses to log in).
Restart the sys, if it asks for pwd, type any thing, sys will accept.
