On Paper.....Carolina is by far the best team on paper.....As far as how it all works out...perhaps not...but it's hard to think they wont take the division by the way they look right now and the season they just had last year.
Tampa and New Orleans are looking very good (compared to other seasons anyway) And I expect them to compete for a wildcard this year....Atlanta doesn't look like they have a chance...another dismal 8-8 or 7-9 season is in store for them.

Carolina is hands down the best team in the NFC South. They have a great defense with a strong front 7. They also have the best WR in the league Steve Smith. They also have DeShaun Foster and drafted rb Deangelo Willimas. They also added Keyshawn Johnson as a number two receiver. Look for Jake Delhomme to have a big year.

That should be a very competitive division but I would have to say the Carolina Panthers. They have probably the best WR in football right now in Steve Smith, a solid, underrated QB in Jake Delhomme, a good defense and terrific coaching from John Fox. Plus they are post season battle tested.

Carolina, but watch out for the Saints; Drew Brees, Reggie Bush, Dante' Stallworth and Joe Horn.

yeah id say carolina or atlanta dont think tampa bay has the team this year and forget about the saints even with reggie bush they have a 3rd place as a goal for the season
