Maybe think about a memory upgrade. Depending on the make/model of your computer... you should be able to add more RAM for abour $50.

The current standard is to have 1GB of memory.

Right click 'My Computer' > Properties

Look at your computer info on the first page of the pop-up. You will see your computer name, Operating System, processor type and then the RAM. It may say 512 MB or perhaps 256 MB. If you already have 1 GB, it will read 1024MB.

If you do have a gig... yeah, check for spyware.

I would suggest the free version of eWido anti-malware. It's only a trial but it's fantastic.

this is what you do delete your cookies and files under internet options, run virus scanner, run adaware 2X, you have to run both the virus scanner and adaware twice. if it finds something keep running them. if you find a virus and it doesnt delete it follow the path to where it is at. reboot into safe mode (f5) do a disc cleanup, defrag and scan disc. look through all your files and delete everything that you dont use anymore before you reboot and do the defrag and all that stuff. if that dont work try getting another stick of memory.

Computer Slow

Download and then run startup.exe at:

http://www.mlin.net/startupcpl.shtml......

Can't live without it and windows...

Then disable and/or uninstall whatever u don't need.

Other things to try:

1 - Disk Cleanup (removal of temp files, cookies, etc.)
2 - Defrag
3 - Registry Cleanup (CAN BE VERY RISKY!)

clean up your internet history. Start, then go to control panel. Click on internet options. Delete cookies, files and clear history. That should help some. Run disc cleanup, and disk defrag(use search option after you click start or click start, all programs, accessories, system tools.)

Hi, there maybe something wrong with your IE.

i recommand you to try firefox.

it can block that annoying ads and disable any virus on webpage. as you know, most virus are spread through internet.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

Download firefox for free in here:
