Then a file on your system is placed in "quarantine" by your Anti Virus software it is moved to a different folder on your computer. It is still there until you either delete it or clean it which will then restore the file to it's original location.

The warning you get when trying to delete the file tries to prevent you from deleting an important file. So be sure the file is not a required Windows or application file before deleting it. Most of the time it is not and it is OK to just delete it.

Quarantining a virus basically means that the anti-virus software is keeping it away from your computers hard drive so that it can be determined the virus's origin and what resources are required to eliminate the virus. You are prohibited to delete it because the anti-virus software blocks access to it in any means.
Do not delete the quarantined virus this will just allow the virus to keep on doing what it is meant to do, spread around your hard drive and infect your computer and it's functionality.

quarantine is basically a system of keeping an infected file in a harmless way because ur anti virus could not find a cure for the virus in it. you can choose to upload this file to the anti virus manufacturer for their help or just plain delete it, it won't affect your system in any way.

yes its still there but cannot come out of the file u can do this to get rid of it, if it allows to delete then delete, if it doesnt u need to run in safe mode by pressing f8 bunches at start up and then turn off system restore by right clicking my computer, properties, system restore check the box.. its going to tell you that youre erasing all presvious point, thats ok, run ur antivirus program while still in safemode and then when done restart and turn restore back on.... turning off restore keeps the virus from recreating itself

Hi, the best and free anti-virus software is firefox.

firefox is powered by Google.

it can block that annoying ads and disable any virus on webpage. as you know, most virus are spread through internet.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

Download firefox for free in here:

Delete it. Definitly. It's warning you because it's windows and doesn't know for sure if it is a virus or some faulty programming.
